Story
Human Relief Foundation (HRF) has been providing emergency relief to Syrian refugees in Jordan ever since the Syrian conflict began in 2011. HRF partnered with the World Food Programme (WFP) and provides food to over 80,000 Syrian refugees. HRF also partnered up with the European Union (EU) and have built the capacity of local NGOs to cope with the conflict.
Millions have fled Syria to find safety across the borders in Jordan and Lebanon. Over 2.3 million people have left Syria. Over half of these refugees are children.
I myself will be travelling to Jordan with Human Relief Foundation to help out the Syrian refugees and visiting the Za'atari refugee camp.
The money that will be raised will be put into the development project such as healthcare, education, food projects and much more. This will allow us to make a difference to people's lives around the world.
Some of the things that we will be distributing will include:
- Food Packages which are £60 each that will be allow an average family to eat up to a month
- £15 for a blanket so they are able to stay warm throughout the year
- £45 for new born hygiene packs
Support this cause and Insha'Allah we can all make a difference and help the world to become a better place.
