My story

Hey everyone! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

You probably already know what I'm doing or you wouldn't be on here, but just incase, or to remind you-

I'm going back to Uganda in July with a Christian charity, Act4Africa to deliver life saving HIV/Aids education through drama to children and adults in Churches, schools and communities. We aim to equip the people we meet with the right knowledge to make the best decisions for their life through workshops, lessons and performance. Stigma reduction is also a huge part of the work we will do as people with the infection are often humiliated and unaccepted in their society and community.

Last time I went I spent heartbreaking times at children orphanages with babies and children who had been orphaned because of the infection and also time at a Childrens Aids Hospice- heartbreaking but we take a message of hope- Jesus- with the aim to help them live the last of their days knowing that they don't have to be afraid and that they can go somewhere way better!

Sooooo, on May 20th I am running the Manchester Great 10k Run to raise my funds for the trip and would love it if you could sponsor me as little or as much as you can please!

Anyway, if you want to know anymore, feel free to ask! I could talk all day ;)

Thank you for your donations, you don't realise how amazing and helpful it is or how grateful I am. They will help towards my trip fees and flights and any extra will go towards the organisation and taking extra toys and gifts to the children and communites we meet. Thank you thank you thank you!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
