The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Hi All

Its that time again, Hannah has decided to do something she has no skills or experience in to raise funds for a fantastic cause. This time it's on two wheels. I have signed up to take part in the Barclays Wheels for Change 100km cycle challenge on the 7th September to raise funds for the Princes Trust. The Princes Trust is a fantastic cause providing hep and support to vulnerable young people across the UK to help them turn their lives around.

I will be donning all of the lycra, finding a bike and hitting the roads of Essex covering a 100km from the Olympic Park Velodrome over the course of the day. I currently do not have a bike, have just about managed to invest in my first lycra hit and have no idea what cycling even close to 100km might feel like so any words of advice or encouragement will be hugely appreciated.

Thanks for your support!
