Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In September I will be moving to South Africa to volunteer at LIV Village for a year. LIV (Lunigisani Indlela Village - 'The right way') is a charity based in Durban, who are building a village for orphans and widows, with a vision to rescue vulnerable children, restore their broken lives, raise them in a loving family community and release them to be the next generation of leaders in South Africa. 

I have given up my job as a junior doctor in the UK to love, serve and work with these incredible children in a variety of ways. I hope to be involved in setting up an on-site clinic as well as teaching science and sport at the school. I also hope to reach out to the wider local community and run basic first aid and HIV awareness workshops. I feel so privileged to have the oportunity to help raise these kids and be a part of the community at LIV.
