I am taking part in the Armpits4August campaign (see my 'Team').

I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and was diagnosed after years of problems when I was 20. It can feel quite scary being told you have it, especially as it inpacts on fertility, so it's invaluable to know there are places where you can find support, tips and information.  

In regards to body hair, PCOS causes a lot of women to have excess hair which is why Armpits4August ask women to grow their pits out. I am lucky, I don't have that symptom. I have never grown out my armpit hair; having shaved everyday since it started growing!
