Saint Francis Hospice is a leading provider of palliative care for people living in Havering, Brentwood, Redbridge, Barking & Dagenham. We care for people from 18 years of age, of any race or religion, who have a life limiting illness due to cancer, heart disease, motor neurone disease or respiratory disease and we provide physical, spiritual and emotional care and support to patients and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, I have decided to take part in Tough Mudder 2015. St Francis Hospice is well known to everyone who lives in Essex, and the work that they do there and care that they give is outstanding. I have become part of Sue's soldiers, a team of friends who are taking part in this event on behalf of Sue, who sadly passed away, and spent her time at the hospice. Raising money for charity is so important as we never know when we or our families will need their help.

I have 3 weeks to prepare for this event, that in itself is well worth a donation as you know how much pain I will be in,  you all know I love a challenge and I'm not a quitter, no matter what it takes I will complete this event :) This is a 12 mile gruelling assault course event where I will be electrocuted, thrown in mud, water and will be jumping through fire!
