I am raising money for parent's accomodation at the Royal London Hospital. The current rooms are not the most relaxing, comfortable space (having stayed in one) and we are also building new rooms when the Paediatric Critical Care Unit moves into our brand new hospital in 2012. This is a really important thing to the parent's of children who are either critically ill or injured, as you can imagine they want to be close to their child and we know this leads to the child getting on the mend more quickly!
As part of a team of 6 we are going to face the challenge of sledding with dogs across Northern Norway (it'll be very cold!). We will hopefully complete the 250km in 6 days next April. We will camp on the ice and look after our "doggy engines", quiet daunting!
