On the 7th of July 2017 I am going to Malawi with my school. I am raising money to contribute to the building of a two room classroom at Vikwa Primary School and during the trip we hope to paint and decorate two further classrooms at Chimbowbe Primary School. We will also be helping at orphanages such as St Andrew's Children's Home, Jacaranda Children's Home and the Open Arms Children's Home for young babies.

During my time in Malawi, I will be turning 18 and I will also be completing  a 3 day trek on top of the Mulanje Massif. Therefore, as part of my fundraising, I would be very grateful for any sponsorship of my trek that I can give directly to the organisations we visit and support on the tour. I would also like to ask for donations that I may give to these charities rather than gifts for my 18th birthday!

Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world and consequently any donation goes an extremely long way. At the current time, £12 can feed a child for an entire year!
