My story
Hey All
I am (apprehensively) running the London Marathon this year 2012 for CURE LEUKAEMIA on behalf of my uncle Malcolm Anson who received great care and support from University Hospital, Birmingham, throughout his treatment. He sadly lost his battle last October and is very greatly missed by all his family and friends. My aim is to raise £3000 for CURE LEUKAEMIA so they can continue to
· Fund extra nursing posts
· Find new drugs and treatments
· Support patients with blood cancers throughout the Midlands
Now, for those of you that know me the prospect of me running a marathon will be filled with tantrums, tears and hopefully a fair bit of laughter.
I know times are hard but any pennies and pounds that you can part with would be so very much appreciated. There will be some upcoming fundraising events before April so watch this space………………..
