<p>Hi everyone,</p> <p>On 12th May I will be taking part in a 720m Zip Wire challenge which is the longest in the UK!!!</p> <p>I am raising money for SARA (Severn Area Rescue Association) in memory of my Dad who was an active member and sadly passed away on 21st March.</p> <p>SARA is the local lifeboat and mountain rescue team for the Severn and Wye area and during his time as a member my Dad was a Helmsman, RYA Powerboat Instructor and for a time was Deputy Chairman on the Executive Committee.</p> <p>He was passionate about his work for SARA and I am grateful for the opportunity to help fundraise in memory of him, especially as SARA receives no government funding!</p> <p>I'm also scared of heights so this will be a personal challenge for me but nothing compared to the challenge my Dad faced for the past 2 years in battling with cancer.</p> <p>Thanks for your support!</p> <p>xxx</p>
