For women diagnosed in the early '90s, this figure was 46%, so it's obvious that the work being done on cancer research is of real value. With more support we can increase the number of women who are treated effectively and push for more screening to catch problems early.</p> <p>Any amount is appreciated - &pound;2.50 will buy 50 microscope slides for researchers, &pound;20 will buy 500 test tubes... and &pound;100 would pay for the cell culture liquid needed to grow breast cancer cells in a laboratory.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
