UWS works to ensure children have access to quality, inclusive education in remote and marginalised communities by collaborating with local partners, communities and governments. We deliver schools, we train teachers and we strengthen education systems.

Story

Thank you for visiting for page.

In the summer of 2013, myself and fellow students, of Atlantic College, will be embarking on a 3 week project in Cambodia. Whilst there, we will be volunteering for a charity called United World Schools, a NGO founded by Chris Howarth, and Atlantic College Almuni.

This charity is very inspiring. It brings education to children who wouldn't get the opporunity otherwise. Building schools, wells and providing the children with trained teachers and educational resources. The schools are set up in rural parts of the countries, where the access to anything is very limited.
