Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in the London to Brighton walk this year. It's is a gruelling 100km walk which takes between 16 and 20 hours, depending on your speed. The walk takes place on 25th May, and will involve walking through the night - anyone that knows me will know that this is a major challenge, for two reasons:
1) I need at last 8 hours sleep every night - I haven't missed a full night sleep in years (well, not without alcohol anyway!)
2) I have recently encountered numerous musculoskeletal issues, a result of being too buff - as i am told by my doctors!!
Nevertheless i am willing to take up this challenge given it's for a great cause. Macmillan Cancer Support is close to my heart as well as many people out there; I have experienced first hand the incredible support they provide and will be forever grateful.
.....so, I need as many of you as possible to put your hands in your pocket to sponsor me and help raise funds for this great cause!!
As one final incentive to donate, if I raise double the target i.e. £1,000 I will wax my legs for the walk (much to the joy of my wife!). With the amount of hair that will come off it might be able to double my walking speed :)
