Ladies & Gentlemen,

Allow me to be honest.... In a foolish attempt to impress my new employers I agreed to take part in the British Gas Swim for Great Ormond Street.  Now whilst it's a great cause I didn't really understand what was required - it turns out on Sunday 30th June I will be swimming  1,000m  - a very challenging distance for Michael Phelps let alone myself!

To compound matters I will be swimming against / with my pregnant boss.  And even though she's swimming for 2 she's almost guaranteed to do better than me!
