We fulfil unforgettable Special Days to support seriously ill 16 - 40 year olds

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running this marathon in support of the establishment of the Magic Wand Foundation. I have never done a marathon before and at 48, I was probably looking for a few more excuses not to do one. Then I met Helen Bull, who works for our customer Carnival. Helen is the most inspiring person I have met, the most dogged and determined and she has provided that inspiration. She ran the London Marathon in poor health and in defiance of her medical advisers, and if she can do that then I can run the New York marathon. Please give generously, I want to really give the Magic Wand a big boost with a substantial inflow of funds, so that Helen sees that her dream is a reality and she can make the world of very ill people however temporarily, a better place. She deserves this more then anyone I know.

The Magic Wand Foundation, founded by Helen Bull is a Special Fund within the Willow Foundation that grants special days to adults with cancer. 100% of the money you donate will go directly to granting special days.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep, very deep and donate now.

Harold.
