Virgin London Marathon 2013 · 21 April 2013 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects how a person communicates with and relates to other people. It also affects how they make sense of the world around them. There are over half a million people in the UK with autism - that's around 1 in 100. If you include their families, autism touches the lives of over two million people every day. The National Autistic Society want a world where all people living with autism get to lead the life they choose.

Considering both of us have never run more than a mile in our lives, this will not only be amusing to watch but will hopefully raise a substantial amount for a charity close to both our hearts, so any donation would be greatly appreciated!!!
