Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor Scotty online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor him: Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Scotty spent a week in Bristol Childrens Hospital following diagnosis. He avoided a coma by a hairs breadth. He lost a third of his body weight and a lot of his hair because of the trauma.

Insulin injections are now his life support but we have ongoing hope that one day in the near future, perhaps a cure might be developed. He could lead a normal life without worrying about what he eats every moment of the day.

The JDRF funds the research needed to find the breakthrough. Every penny you donate will be used in earnest to find that cure.

So please sponsor him now!

Many thanks for your support.

(PS: We have hit our total of £1000, but that doesnt mean we stop.. WE JUST TRY MORE!!  MWH, 16th July)
