Thank you for taking the time to read this.....

Many of you will know that I work for the Bobby Moore Fund, a fantastic charity which raises money to help tackle bowel cancer in the UK, in memory of the world cup hero who sadly died from the disease aged just 51. My next 'assignment' takes me to Brazil where, along with 35 other volunteers, we will work extremely hard to rebuild a dilapidated school and football pitch for the local Brazilian community.

Project Brazil will have a huge impact, as without this work, families would be forced to move away from their home. For most, the school is at the heart of their lives as it also serves as an adult education centre and meeting point, therefore it is essential that we complete the work within 10 days to ensure we can preserve the village for the lovely community. To do this, we will be working all day every day, personally I will be learning new trades such as bricklaying, plastering, plumbing etc - i know!!!!!!! By night we will be camping so this is by no means a holiday!
