Story
As part of The Prince’s Trust ‘Million Maker’s Challenge’, on 6th November 2019, I will be trying to swim as much as I can in 2 hours. My personal aim is to swim at least 115 lengths of the 50 metre pool at the Olympic Park’s London Aquatics Centre.
I, alongside my fellow ENGIE employees, will be swimming simultaneously across 3 different venues trying to raise as much as we can for a truly great cause. All donations will be going to The Prince's Trust, one of ENGIE's chosen charities, who change the lives of thousands of young people for the better every year & every donation will make a difference:
- £5 could pay for a reading module towards an English qualification for one young person
- £10 could teach a young person how to manage their money with a day-long budgeting session
- £20 could help an isolated young person travel to a two-week course that will help them stabilise their life
- £50 could ensure a young person can travel to work in the month before their first pay-cheque
- £100 could fund a two-hour session teaching a young person how to cook nutritious meals for themselves and their families
Your support is greatly appreciated, and I will keep you updated on how I get on!
Thank you,
Harry
