CancerCare is a local charity dedicated to helping adults and children affected by cancer or bereavement in North Lancashire and South Cumbria. We receive no government funding, and our work is only possible thanks to grant funders and people who donate, fundraise or give a gift in their Will.

Day 1 - Ravenglass to Silloth 55 miles. Avoided rain but very windy, I got blown off my bike at Allonby! 2 punctures & a wrecked tyre but nothing that a taxi ride to Halfords in Workington couldn't cure. Day 2 Making good progress. 11.30 coffee stop at Bowness on Solway.

Setting off today

<p>Over the past 6 months people close to me and my parents have been affected by cancer and this has really made me want to do something to help raise money for Cancer Care.</p> <p>The people at Cancer Care can help the families of the people affected and try to make life easier.</p> <p>Please give generously and &nbsp;my dad says "if you are a UK tax payer please make sure you tick gift aid box so they can get even more money"</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Im cycling 175miles for Cancer Care along The Hadrian's Cycleway over four days from 30th June to 3rd July</p> <p>Please donate =)</p>
