Story
After going to Kenya/Uganda this June to visit the Xavier Project and it's amazing work helping those displaced from the Republic of Congo, I decided to do something to help.
The Project funds kids who have fled their own country and whose families can't pay for their education. They pay their school fees, buy them school uniforms, check they are attending school and making good progress.
They are the only ngo to fund formal education to refugees in Uganda, (which they also do in Kenya).
They are not the kind of charity that just throws money or food at a problem but they work hard with the local refugees to put them in a position where they can support themselves.
I am not a big runner not to mention swimmer so this triathalon is going to be testing for me to say the least!
I'd really appreciate any donation possible, every bit makes a big difference!
