Story

Hello all,

I'm Harvey and this summer on the 9th June 2014, I will endeavour to climb the UK's highest mountains in just 24 hours! The journey begins in Scotland were myself and the team will initially tackle Ben Nevis (1344m), then we travel to the Lake District and make our assent to the summit of Scarfell Pike (978m), and finally Wales' highest mountain, Snowdon (1085m) will be completed.

This is not set up just as a 'challenge' for myself and the team, but instead to raise money for the Yorkshire Cancer Centre Appeal. Their aim is to  support cancer patients and more specifically focus on buying the necessary additions such as "specialist medical equipment, research and development and patient ‘home comforts" that ensure optimal treatment and comfort for patients are readily available during the challenging and distressing time of their lives.

Cancer is a severe disease that disturbingly effects 1 in 3 of the population. However, with your help research and support can be made to end the suffering of so many. So please, donate what you can for a great cause!
