My story

Haslers Foundation are supporting Kids Inspire, one of the charity partners of the “Gold Challenge” linked with the Olympics, by raising money through an Olympic themed charity event.

Kids Inspire are a children’s charity that help the disadvantaged and troubled young people of Essex become valued members of society; we’ve already presented a donation to the charity, but at Haslers we want to do more.

This is why, 42 members of the Haslers team have signed up to the 2012km challenge, which sees us complete 2012km by running, walking, jogging, skipping, swimming, cycling – any form of travelling other than a plane, train or car – before the opening ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.

Well that was the idea; but in February our forty-two strong team clocked up 2141km and in March we clocked up 2394km, so we’ve upped the challenge, by hitting an average of 2012km every month until the opening ceremony.

We’re hoping that our charity events will encourage you to sponsor us, enabling us to contribute more to Kids Inspire.
