Santa Run 2009 · 6 December 2009 ·

Amnesty International UK is movement of ordinary people standing up for humanity and human rights. Some of our campaigns includes refugees, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, and conflict-affected countries. When we unite even the smallest acts of humanity make a difference.

Story

Dear all,

Thank you for supporting my cause. I have been born and brought up in an environment where the justice and human rights have been the highest values. I am supporting amnesty international because I can see the reflection of this value in them. I am going to run 5 K in Santa costume in London on 06 December 2009 to raise money for the sister Serrano Cruz (Ernestina and Erlinda) two of 700 children who 'disappeared' in 1982 during El Salvador's 12-year internal conflict. Their mother Maria Victoria Cruz died in 2005 still waiting for news hearing from her daughters. The rest of the family and amnesty international/us continues to call for justice and fight for their case.

Please donate as little/much in their support. Although I need only to raise a minimum of £100.00, all your donation will go to amnesty international supporting the human rights every where in the world.

Thanks again

love
