I am a founder member of an online Stockport County Fans Forum callled "County Heaven".

We recently became aware of a children's cancer charity called "Kidscan" who are based in Salford. They do excellent work supporting research into new and better treatments for children with cancer. Cancer is something that affects most of us throughout our lives, but children often aren't as well equipped to understand it, deal with it and beat it. The fantastic work that Kidscan do can help change that.

As a result, I have decided to organise a walk from Edgeley Park, the home of my beloved Stockport County, to Moss Rose, the home of Macclesfield Town prior to our match on Saturday 30th March 2013 (Easter Saturday). It's 13 miles so, ok, it's not a huge challenge, but I chose this fixture so that as many people as possible who want to take part, can. I'm being joined by a number of my fellow County fans (and Bexley the dog!) who are all doing this for a very good cause so please dig deep and contribute whatever you can as it will all help towards our target.
