Barclays Wheels for Change 2016 · 9 September 2016 ·

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

I will be taking part in the 100km cycling challenge on 9 September, starting and finishing at the London Olympic Velodrome (via Essex). I thought it was time to step up from my weekly spin classes and test my endurance for a worthy cause.

The challenge is for 'Wheels for Change', an annual cycling challenge led by Barclays to raise money for the Princes Trust. Please help sponsor me to raise money for this excellent cause which helps young people develop key skills, confidence and motivation to move into employment, education or training.

I will be cycling in memory of Tracey Mead, a very special family friend who sadly lost her battle to cancer last year.

Any donations will be matched by Barclays so please donate whatever you can!

Thank you,

Hattie
