We exist to give a lifetime of support to the wider Army family, regardless of where or when a soldier served. We act swiftly and efficiently in providing support in the form of grants to those who find themselves in real need. We also provide grants to charities who support the wider Army family.

Story

In 2012 I ran the half marathon distance of the St George's school Great Curry run. It was tough, but at least I didn't have a full miliatry pack on my back as some of the runners did.

The distance this year is longer 24 km - Why? because every 10 m is added for a soldier serving in Afganistan who has been killed or wounded. The Soldiers Charity does a valuable work on supporting those bereaved families and injured soldiers, in what for them is a life changing sacrifice. This relatively minor effort on my part will go some way to helping their major sacrifice.
