British 10K London Run · 14 July 2013 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the British 10k on the 14th July to see if it is actually possible. For all of you that know me even a tiny bit, you will know my intense dislike for long distance running and I am therefore trying to force myself to get the running bug and complete this race to prove I can, mostly to myself! I have also dragged a group of friends into taking part too so we can all suffer together, all sharing this fear of running further than 500m.

A group of 25 of us from LBG are trying to raise money for our charity of the year, the Alzheimer's Society and would really appreciate any sponsorship you could give to help us make a difference.

Thanks so much for your support!
