I have decided to do the Midnight Walk for a very personal reason... My friend Scott Murphy has been fighting an incurable disease called VHL since 2006, unfortunately he finally lost this battle and passed away on Friday 27th April 2012.

During Scott's final year he spent a significant amount of time at St. Anns Hospice in Little Hulton. Whilst there, Scott was treated like a king and all of the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Myself and Ian spent so much time there and every time we felt comfortable and happy knowing Scott was in a safe and caring environment.

I cannot thank the staff and volunteers at the hospice enough for what they did for Scott and I want to raise some money to show my support for the amazing job everyone does there.
