I have decided to take part in this event to raise money for a great cause, for those out there that know my career choice you will also know how passionate I am about what I do.

I have had 12 very special years in a job that I do love despite its ups and downs.

I am running 250 miles over 4 months (which equates to 2 miles everyday for four months, 9 marathons).

I raise money to help support other Police Officers and their families that sadly find themselves in the same circumstances as Nicola HUGHES' family. It is unfortunate that this job is getting more dangerous and this lady has given the ultimate sacfrice that we hope we never have to make.
