This year we are running for Reverse Rett. Having only recently discovered Reverse Rett and their amazing work they do to raise funds to help girls with Rett Syndrome we had to chose them.
We personally couldn't ever imagine our daughter, sister, niece or other female family member not be able to do all those things in life we take for granted on a daily basis. Using the toilet, eating, walking around the shops, chatting to friends and every other little day to day activity we all do without thinking about.
And there is currently no cure for Rett Syndrome. Research needs to be done to find a cure and give these young girls the chance to walk or maybe even one day run.
We will be running the full 10k for all the girls with Rett Syndrome who can't run.
Please help girls with Rett Syndrome by making a small donation and sponsoring us to run 10k on 10th May 2015.
Reverse Rett works to speed treatments and a cure for Rett Syndrome and related MECP2 disorders by funding research that will have a practical and positive impact on our children’s lives.
