On 13th-27th of February 2012, I will be travelling to Tanzania in Africa to work alongside a dental volunteer programme called Bridge2Aid.

The Bridge2Aid Dental Volunteer Programme (DVP) was developed to allow qualified dental professionals to pass on their skills to local health care personnel in Tanzania. The programme began in 2004 in partnership with the Tanzanian Government. More than 70% of the world's population have no access to the simplest of dental pain relief, leaving billions to face a daily battle with pain in the toughest of life circumstances. Bridge2Aid was founded as a response to this terrifying problem, by providing access to dental pain relief and to help the millions of people suffering in the developing world. Bridge2Aid is the UK’s fastest growing UK dental charity working in developing nations.
