Story
This challenge was completed 14th April 2012.
A massive thank you to everybody who has donated to these charities.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 14th April 2012 I am doing a sky dive to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity.
My Dad Alex Russell is a retired firefighter who in March last year suffered a heart attack followed by two strokes at the age of 62. Thanks to the huge efforts made by the staff at the stroke unit in Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn and the staff at the Jubilee Therapy Centre at Penrith, funded by the Firefighters Charity and also the huge effort made by himself, my dad has made a fantastic recovery.
The sky dive itself is being sponsored by Hayley Williams Photography so all donations on this page will go to the Fire Fighters Charity. To donate to the Cancer Care unit or the Stroke Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King's Lynn please go to Carole and Alex pages on The Butterflies Team. Every little helps. Thank you.
The Fire Fighters Charity is the UK’s leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families. They’re available for all members of the fire service community during their times of need, assisting thousands of individuals every year by providing pioneering treatment and support services.
