Thanks for visiting my page! In a few weeks time I will be donning my padded cycling shorts, and cycling 50 miles from Windsor to Oxford.  Why am I doing this ride you ask? Well, it's been a while since I've set myself a challenge and for those that know me well you know I thrive on a challenge! More importantly, it's been at least a year since I did some fundraising for a good cause, so and I thought it was about time.

I will be doing this cycle ride to raise money for Helen & Douglas House which is a fantastic cause! Helen House opened in 1982 as the world's first children's hospice and Douglas House opened in 2004 as the world's first hospice specifically for young adults aged 16-35. Helen & Douglas House has the time and expertise to care for children and young adults with life-shortening conditions and support their families, so a truly worthwhile cause.
