Latest news (12th March 2012): Peter Hobbs and four friends are taking part in the London to Brighton Challenge in memory of Hayley. So far, they have raised over £2,000! To donate to their effort, just visit http://www.justgiving.com/rememberinghayley.

Hayley Elizabeth Hobbs was born in Mayday Hospital, Croydon (although she would never admit to it!) on the 7 January 1991 to Maria and Peter. She moved down to Hampshire early in life.

She attended Liphook schools, including Bohunt Secondary School, where she made a vast number of close friends. Then, after gaining an NVQ qualification in Theatrical Make Up at South Downs College, Waterlooville, she met Chris who seemed to guide her onto the straight and narrow; she consequently attended Guildford college to obtain the qualifications to enable her to attend University.

Her plans, apart from attending University, included another girly holiday and owning a teacup Chihuahua.

She was adored by everybody she met and gained many close friends throughout her life, as a result of her ability to light up a room with her infectious smile and energetic personality.

She was fondly nicknamed 'Patsy' by her Uncle Jon because of her constantly-backcombed hair and flawless make-up in later years.

Known as a drama queen, only Hayley would be able to steal the limelight on her cousins' birthday, whilst her Dad and Karen were on the other side of the world in Thailand!

Although Hayley was taken from us too early, we have comfort in the fact she lived her life to the full.

Forever young and forever beautiful, she never failed to turn heads, make people laugh, ruin a song with her singing or inspire us with her fun-loving personality.
