In October I will be facing my fears (of camping and heights) to embark on a 9 day trek in Ethiopia through the Simien Mountains with 45 colleagues from DLA Piper offices all over the world with the ultimate goal of reaching the summit of Mount Bwahit at 4,450m.  I would really appreciate your support in helping me hit my personal fundraising target of £5,000.

I am not sure which will be the greatest challenge - the climb itself or spending several nights camping (those of you who know me appreciate it is not my favourite activity...).  However it is in aid of a great cause - the UNICEF child justice programme.  As a mother of three young children I passionately support the work UNICEF does for children around the world who are not as lucky as mine and this programme aims to protect the rights of some of the most vulnerable children who come into contact with the law, whether as victims, witnesses or offenders.  All money raised will go directly to UNICEF and I am funding the cost of the trip so I do appreciate any donations.
