I'm sure that someone you know has been affected by cancer?  Over the years my list of family and friends that have bravely fought battles after being diagnosed with cancer has increased alarmingly.  I have cried many tears of sadness at yet another loss and happiness with those that have survived their fight, but still go on bearing the scars.

In July I will be taking part in Race for Life with colleagues from Cambridge University in memory of our much loved colleague Jane Ridley and we hope to raise as much as possible to help fund research into the causes and treatment of cancer.

We are raising money for Cancer Research UK.
