Welcome to our donations page and thanks for checking our story out.
Last August, I took a really bad turn whilst out on a run when I collapsed. Hospital results showed that it was all in the heart, a heartattack being the words used, and the recovery from that proved to be long and hard. However, after being fitted with a heart monitor, I was able to build my fitness back up and try get back on track.
A year on, I thought it would be fitting to launch Heart Of The Game, in association with Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) with the first port of call being a fundraising football match at Alloa Athletic. 100% of the donations raised will go towards the work done at CHSS, a charity that means a lot to me and supports people all over Scotland, young and old, who suffer from any chest, heart or stroke problems in their lives.
