To commemorate the 10th anniversary of my nephew James death I took my nighti (don't ask!!) on a cycle ride from Harrow Middlesex to Millbrook near Torpoint in Cornwall. The trip started on Sunday October 2nd ,ending Friday 7th. We cycled aver 248 miles over the 6 days. It was my greatest challenge to date and my bum is only just recovering but the support i have received has made it worth every bottom numbing mile. I am well on the way to my total target of £1000 so if you have not given yet and keep meaning to there is still time. My nighti, my bottom and i will be truely grateful.
Over the last 10 years the Childrens Arthritis Trust ( statred in Jame's memory) has done fantastic work and funded invaluable posts in helping support children and families affected by Chronic Juevenile Arthritis. We now have a new fundraising challenge to secure £75 000 to assist research into long term outcomes for these children and young people , a project to which we are very commited.
