Raise Money to Help Harley Slack
I am sure you have seen the recent news about Harley Slack, anyone who has listening to Key 103 or read the local papers will certainly have.
Harley Slack is a four year old boy admitted to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital with Meningitis B. Both his arms were amputated below the elbow and both his legs at the knee. Adam, Harley’s dad said “Harley proved everybody wrong. He came so close to dying we now want to give him the best chance in life. Key 103s Cash for Kids want to raise £60,000 to pay for artificial arms and legs for little Harley. Listening and reading this story moved me to tears and is now very close to our heart as we could just couldn't imagine what we would feel or be going thru right now if it happened to our little boys Isaac and Matthew. Therefore we would really like to help raise as much money for Harley as possible so he can get his new arms and legs and have the best possible life which our boys will have. Myself and Claire will be doing an 8 mile walk (hopefully on Fri 24th July, weather permitting) with the prams, starting from behind Radcliffe Asds's on the old railway line and then walk into Manchester city centre. Anyone who knows myself and Claire will know this is a big challenge for us so would ask for evryones support, and to support Harley. Thank You for reading this and Hope you will sponser us.
