<p>This is a sponsored walk by men in heels, to raise awareness and much needed funds for the White Ribbon Campaign (UK). The Heels Walk aims to show men what it is like to place themselves in the position of a woman for just a few hours, and encourage them to engage with the issues of violence against women and girls. The White Ribbon campaign is the largest global effort of men working to end male violence against women.<br>Wearing a White Ribbon is a personal pledge to never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women.<br>2 women die every week as a result of violence by their partners, and countless more suffer from physical and mental violence. We aim to work with other organisations within the End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW) to change these appalling statistics.<br>White Ribbon Campaign is an educational organisation relying on volunteer support and financial contributions from individuals and organisations.
