My story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!
When we founded Hedley May we made a commitment to raise £100,000 for The Prince’s Trust Fairbridge Programme, by walking the 270 miles from our offices in Sun Court, City of London to the home of Louis XIV’s ‘Sun Court’ in Versailles over a six-year period. In our first two years we have raised £30,000 and trekked all the way from the City to the sea at Dover.
Hedley May will match every donation you make.
Last year, the Prince’s Trust Fairbridge Programme helped more than 3,500 of the most disadvantaged and excluded 13-25 year olds take their first steps back into the communities they live in. Of these, 85% achieved something tangible such as returning to the classroom, starting a college course, finding a job or remaining in the Fairbridge Programme to continue their development.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We give practical and financial support to 13-30 year olds in the UK who have struggled at school, been in care, have been in trouble with the law or are long-term unemployed. We aim to support more than 50,000 young people this year. Fairbridge has recently become part of The Prince's Trust.
