Heidi and Megs are doing a 5k run (yes, it is a miracle!) for a charity called Momentum that is very dear to us.

A close friends daughter has recently won her battle with leukeamia, she endured two years of treatment and benefited from the fantastic support Momentum offered her, and her family.

Momentum assists children undergoing treatment and their families by improving the facilities in local hospitals, where children undergoing cancer treatment will typically spend prolonged periods. Currently they are working with the Paediatric Department at Kingston Hospital and have introduced a light garden for the children that are unable to go outside, a teenage room, a two bed high dependency unit to avoid children having to go to other hospitals for treatment. 

They organise events such as bedroom makeovers, VIP visits to the theatre, and family holidays to the Momentum cabin for children who undergoing grueling treatment.
