The Friends of the Baby Unit was established 49 years ago (1976) to raise money for equipment for use in the intensive care of preterm and sick newborn babies being cared for on the Neonatal unit at The Royal Derby Hospital. The money raised over that time is now over £2 million pounds. Thank you

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ebony was born at The Royal Derby hospital weighing 511g (1.1lb), 14wks early. She was taken to the neo natal unit where they helped her get better both through staff cares and the machinery.

As her mummy I didn't realise how some of the life saving equipment had to be brought through donation. And quite simply if the equipment wasn't there, then Ebony would not have stood a chance of getting through that difficult time. that is why both Craig & I intend to raise as much money for the unit as we can, via a series of events we are planning.

I am orginising a raffle with some amazing prizes for example tickets for a home derby county match next season, stadium tours for Liverpool and Celtic, itv have dontated Tina from corries jacket, autographs from Ant and Dec, Tess Daley and some of the cast of Eastenders, Paint Balling partys for up to 8 people per party and much much more. (all prizes are subject to change)

what I am asking is for you to give £1 for 5 tickets then email me at heidster25@hotmail.co.uk with you full name and phone number (so i can contact the lucky winners).

i has to be worth a go and some fantastic prizes for as little as £1 got to be worth a go.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
