Hair cut for a cause · 20 December 2014

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Heidi and I am 7 years old. I was inspired by someone in my school to donate my hair for a worthy charity called Little Princess Trust. The trust makes wigs from donated hair for children who have lost theirs through cancer treatment.

I will have my hair cut for the donation on Saturday 20th December, it needs to be at least 17cm which it is and I still has time for it to grow even more!

The Little Princess Trust will send my hair away at a cost to them of £350 to have my hair made into a wig, I am asking for donations through “Just Giving” to cover the cost of the £350 and hopefully we will raise more to enable this worthy charity to make more little prince and princesses’ dreams come true.

UPDATE - Thank you very much to everyone who has been very generous and donated so far. I have asked my mam, Leanne, if she would donate her hair too and she said YES!!!!! So we are aiming to raise even more money. Please help us make this possible so we can help Little Princess Trust make wigs for children having cancer treatment. Keep an eye out in local press, The Evening Chronicle has kindly agreed to run a story!!!!!
