Helen Rollason was a television sport presenter who was diagnosed with cancer and sadly died in 1999. While she was being treated Helen became aware of how little support there was for people being treated for cancer. She felt more than just medical treatment was needed and that people should be emotionally supported too. We now have Helen Rollason Cancer Support Centres. In these beautiful centres complimentary therapies and counselling are available to people with cancer and their families.
We are going to do a 40km bike ride on the 12th April 2010 to try to raise as much money as possible.
This is a wonderful charity offering support to people who need so much help at this really difficult time. Please, please help us to raise as much money as possible. Thank you.
