Story

Hi Friends!!

Yes, for the first time since school 25 years ago I have decided to take up running, to get fitter and shed a few extra pounds (kilos now I guess!)

Its harder than I thought so I wanted a good incentive and what better way than to raise money for a worthwhile cause in anticipation it will spur me on to achieve a respectable time!!

My current fans have challenged me to complete the race in under 1 hour 25 mins (remember I am a beginner!!) and if the turbo boost is working in time anything under 1 hr 10 attracts more £s

A friend of mine's partner has a son who uses the facilities so what better way to kick off my running campaign by helping raise more money for this highly deserving cause!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
