The spread of Ebola in West Africa is not just killing those infected but ripping apart health services, devastating communities, and destroying people’s ability to support themselves. Nearly 10,000 people have died and over 20,000 have been infected by the virus. The outbreak is not only a health crisis, but also a humanitarian disaster. MSF are an independent, impartial, neutral organisation that delivers medical aid where it is needed the most, and it is certainly needed in West Africa now.
