Story

Dear friends and family,

Here I am - the day after the Marathon, delighted to have completed the 26 miles and 385 yards in 3 hours 59 minutes and 15 seconds - miticulous timing to come in under 4 hours!

Thank you so much to all who have supported me in my fund raising effort - both charities are truly thankful for your contributions, and it really helped me to keep running knowing that the funds depended on it!

If you have signed in to sponsor me, you can still do so....

..I am running in aid of two charities, the British Dyslexia Association and Kakunyu School for Special Educational Needs in Uganda. The funds raised will be split equally.

For practical reasons, my fund raising is being processed through the British Dyslexia Association and they will transfer 50% of the funds raised to Kakunyu School. So for every pound that you give, you can be sure that 50p will go to the BDA and the other 50p to Kakunyu School.

Thank you so much for helping me to raise money for these two great causes.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
