<div class="frp-message-body" style="height: auto;"> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. For the last 2 summers I have volunteered for a week on&nbsp; CHIVA's summer camp. The camp is for 13-17 year olds, from the UK and Ireland, who are living with HIV.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Summer camp 2011&nbsp;was a fantastic success. It was great to see so many young people return from last year having grown in confidence, self esteem and acceptance of their HIV status. They were in a position to support those who were yet to experience the life changing effect of attending a camp where anxieties&nbsp;around discrimination, prejudice, stigma and adherence to medications&nbsp;were discussed&nbsp;openly. The sense of empowerment and peer support that these young people received could not have happened without camp.</p> <p>On the weekend of 3rd-4th December a group of CHIVA volunteers and staff will&nbsp;be&nbsp;cycling the&nbsp;1407km from Land's End to John O Groats (albeit in the comfort of a London gym), to raise money for CHIVA's Summer Camp 2012.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
